On peut aussi prolonger la réflexion en constatant qu'il est rarissime de se désintéresser de la musique classique, aimée adolescent, une fois parvenu à l'âge mûr. L'inverse est plus courant d'abandonner un style de musique contemporaine passé la période d'adolescence. Autrement dit, quand on aime la musique classique ado, c'est pour la vie ! 😊

The sound quality of this hall is very poor. If its not that its where the mics were placed or both. I have an old LP that sounds better than this.

First listened to this music in 1989 back in South Carolina when i was only 5. Time flies.

I assume that Mozart had no idea that his music would still be played and loved over 300 years after his death. What other music that he may of composed if he had not died at the young age of 35. Pick any piece and listen to it's complexity. How could he have had all of that complexity and perfection in his mind and put it down on paper without any corrections? I've read that Mozart wrote 'Eine kleine Nachtmusik' due to the urging of his father. His father told him to compose music that can be enjoyed by common people, like today's Top 40 music to help pay the mounting bills. I don't know if this is true but it makes for a good story. 'Eine kleine Nachtmusik' became one of Mozart’s most popular pieces but was composed after his father's death. Mozart never published 'Eine Kleine Nachtmusik' in his lifetime. It was left up to his widow, Constanze, to sell it in a job lot of his music to a publisher in 1799, presumably to raise much needed cash. It saw public light of day only in 1827, some forty years after it was written. A composer like Mozart comes only once in the history of mankind, we are so lucky to be able to enjoy his music.

One of my favourite pieces! the 1st moment seems to slide right into the 2nd movement without any breathing between; not that this is bad or wrong but just an observation of this performance that's different from other performances I've heard.
